Some common questions we receive about Envirosun HP Plus?
Q: They look like Haier heat pumps are they the same?
A: They are similar yet a lot different. They are manufactured by Haier, however that's where the similarities end. They are specified to Envirosun's own requirements so they operate totally differently. They have a different control panel and modes of operation.

Q: Do they still work in winter?
A: Yes they do, like any heat pump, they take a little longer to recover when the surrounding air is cooler.

Q: Are they noisy?
A: They do make some operation noise when operating, however they are different in the fact the compressor has 3 recovery speeds. They are rated at 42dBA, much quieter than many systems. Mute mode is extremely quiet and one of the few heat pumps where the compressor mode of recovery can be customer operated.

Q: What temperature can the tank be set to?
A: We normally leave them set to 60 DegC, however the they can be set to 75 DegC, to further extend delivered hot water volume.

Q: I have seen the Wulfe heat pump brand, is that the same?
A: The Wulfe heat pump is an Envirosun product, and it is the same, sold through a different retailer network.

You also need to think about your power source when choosing a heat pump, the Envirosun plugs into a normal external power point. This help reduce installation costs. Even if you need a power point, they are relatively inexpensive.
