Rinnai GR Enviroflo Heat pumps are now a popular choice when you need to replace your hot water system. Here is some basic information.
We have selected Rinnai’s new GR Series, plug in Enviroflo GR Series Heat Pumps in the 180L, 265L and 300L capacities.
Designed to plug into a standard external compliant power point^, the plug in range helps reduce installation costs by not requiring an expensive dedicated circuit.
The larger sizes we have selected are perfect for replacing a gas boosted solar system or gas continuous flow system as everything is there ready for an easy transition.
Powered by an impressive 1100W compressor, ideal for quicker hot water recovery.
Wifi connectivity that can be connected to the popular Smart Life Smart Living app so you can control the system and take advantage of the multiple operating modes.
The Enviroflo GR Series offers a quiet operation noise of 46 dB(A).

Some common questions we receive about Rinnai GR Enviroflo?
Q: They look like Rinnai AR Enviroflo heat pumps are they the same?
A: No the are different systems, however they share some componentry. The AR is made in Australia at the local Braeside manufacturing plant, the GR is imported from China, however it has to meet Rinnai's strict quality criteria. The AR is not plug in.

Q: Do they still work in winter?
A: Yes, like any heat pump, their recovery can be longer in winter, however the large compressor assists with recovery time.

Q: Are they noisy?
A: They do make some operation noise when operating, just like all heat pumps. They are rated at 46dBA.

Q: What temperature can the tank be set to?
A: We normally leave them set to 60 DegC in standard recovery mode, however the they can be set to 70 DegC.

Q: I have seen some different looking GR Models, why is that?
A: Rinnai make some models exclusively for some plumbing supply retailers. We can still access these such as Tradelink & Burdens.

The good news is, we only install better systems with great support and warranties, Rinnai GR Enviroflo are one of our favourite systems being very popular with our customers. Many of our customers have had a gas Rinnai Infinity for over 20 years and are now transitioning to electric water heating and remaining with Rinnai.

You also need to think about your power source when choosing a heat pump, the Rinnai GR Enviroflo plugs into a normal external power point. This help reduce installation costs. Dedicated circuit models are also available on request in different capacities or the Australian made AR range.
