Q: What is a heat pump?
A: A heat pump is a hot water system that uses the principles of refrigeration to take the heat out of the surrounding air and in simple terms, have it heat the water in the storage tank. They are approximately 70% cheaper to run than an older style electric system and they are also cheaper to run than many gas systems.

Q: Do they still work in winter? A: Yes, in our climate they do.

Q: Are they noisy?
A: They do make some operation noise when operating, however generally not too bad. Normally much quieter than a split system air conditioner. If it is a concern, they can be turned off at night via the inbuilt timer or app.

An OH&S requirement by us if you want a system installed, we need adequate access to the installation site. Some of these systems are very tall and heavy.
