Gas Hot Water

Time Is Running Out

Let us install your next gas hot water- NOW

Gas Hot Water Update

From 1st March 2027 if you have a gas continuous flow hot water system like the one pictured on this page installed in a residential property, at the end of its life it must be replaced with an electric alternative if it cannot be repaired.  In nearly all cases this means a large tank.

If you have a storage gas system with a pilot light in a residential property then this can be replaced like for like.
The easiest way to determine if your end of life gas system will need to be replaced with an electric alternative is if it has a power lead.
If your system is over 8 years old or you would like to install a continuous flow system then a planned replacement should be put on your to-do list.
If you need a new gas hot water system, please do not hesitate to call us and ask as many questions as you need to.

The rules are different and stricter for rental properties.  We recommend you discuss with your property manager.
For those wishing to install a storage electric heat pump then we can also assist.
